GENERAL RV POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation. Partial payments are not accepted.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to arrival:
A 5% cancellation fee will apply.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival:
A one-night cancellation fee will apply.

No cancellation fee will apply if the reservation is moved to another available date.

Alternatively, amounts paid may be retained as a credit toward a future stay, subject to resort policies and availability.

Monthly Reservations
Cancellation of a monthly reservation is subject to a $100 cancellation fee at all times.

RV & VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

Registration & Insurance

Proof of current registration and valid insurance coverage is required for all RVs and vehicles located within the resort.

Management reserves the right to request and verify registration and insurance documentation at any time, including:

Before accepting or confirming a reservation

At check-in

During a guest's stay

Periodically during monthly or extended-term stays

Failure to provide valid documentation upon request may result in denial of a reservation, refusal of check-in, termination of the stay, or other action permitted under resort policies and applicable law.

RV Measurements

Guests are responsible for providing an accurate bumper-to-hitch measurement of their RV when making a reservation.

If an RV exceeds the capacity of the assigned site or cannot safely maneuver into the resort, Pismo Sands may be unable to accommodate the guest.

If accommodations cannot be provided because inaccurate RV measurements were supplied, applicable deposits or reservation payments may be forfeited.

Large Trucks
Guests with trucks longer than approximately 20 feet should notify the resort in advance, as the vehicle may not fit within the assigned site.

Self-Contained RVs
All RVs must be fully self-contained.

Tent Camping
Tent camping is not permitted.

Maximum RV Length
The resort can generally accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, due to roadway dimensions and tight turns within the property.

Repairs & Washing

RV or vehicle repairs must be coordinated through the resort office. Please contact the office for information regarding approved vendors.

Washing RVs or vehicles at individual sites is prohibited.

Vehicles

Each site permits:

One RV

One street-legal passenger vehicle

Additional vehicles that cannot safely fit within the assigned site must be parked outside the resort unless otherwise authorized by management.

ATV Trailers
An additional site may be rented at the full applicable rate for an ATV trailer, subject to availability.

ATVs may not be unloaded, operated, or ridden within the resort.

ATVs must be loaded and unloaded outside resort property.

The resort does not provide direct beach access.

Speed Limit
The speed limit throughout the resort is 5 MPH.

Please watch carefully for children, pedestrians, pets, and other guests.

Guests who repeatedly or significantly violate the speed limit may be required to park their vehicle outside the resort.

Empty Sites
Parking in unoccupied or empty RV sites is prohibited unless specifically authorized by management.

Guest Parking
Guest parking is limited and subject to availability.

Guests should contact the office before visitors arrive. If parking is unavailable, visitors must park outside the resort.

Unauthorized Parking
Improperly or illegally parked vehicles may be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

Grass & Landscaping
Vehicles may not be parked on grass or landscaped areas.

Vehicle tires must remain within the designated parking area and must not cross the white site line onto the lawn.

Sprinkler heads are located near the edge of many lawn areas.

Damage to sprinkler equipment caused by a guest or guest vehicle may result in a $50 charge per damaged sprinkler.

NOISE & NEIGHBORS

Noise
Radios, televisions, speakers, generators, musical devices, and other sound-producing equipment must not be audible beyond the immediate campsite at any time.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Visitors who are not registered overnight guests must leave the resort by 10:00 p.m.

Late-Night Setup
Guests arriving after 10:00 p.m. should minimize noise and postpone unnecessary setup until morning.

Respect Other Campsites
Do not walk, drive, bicycle, or allow pets to pass through another guest's campsite.

Disputes
Guests are encouraged to resolve minor disagreements calmly and respectfully.

Harassment, disruptive conduct, repeated disturbances, threatening behavior, or conduct that interferes with another guest's reasonable enjoyment of the resort may result in removal from the property without refund.

ACTIVITIES

Campfires
Campfires are permitted only in approved fire pits.

Fires must remain controlled and attended at all times.

Personal fire pits are permitted provided they do not damage grass or landscaping.

Burned or damaged grass caused by a guest's fire pit may result in a $50 charge.

Children
Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Office Area
Bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, and similar recreational equipment are not permitted inside the resort office.

Roadway Play
Playing in resort roadways is prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Kickball

Football

Basketball

Similar recreational activities

Resort roads must remain clear for vehicles, pedestrians, emergency access, and protection of guest property.

PET POLICIES

A maximum of two pets per site is permitted at a fee of $5 per pet, per night.

Pets must be non-aggressive and may not exceed 21 inches at the shoulder unless specifically approved by management.

Guests should contact the resort office for approval when required.

Pet Waste
Guests must immediately clean up after their pets.

Failure to clean up after a pet may result in termination of the stay without refund.

The resort does not provide complimentary pet waste bags. Bags may be available for purchase from the resort store.

Vaccinations
Pets must be current on required vaccinations.

Management may request vaccination or shot records. Guests should have documentation available during their stay.

Leashes
Pets must remain on a leash no longer than 6 feet whenever outside the RV, except when appropriately using the designated off-leash dog park.

Supervision
Pets may not be left unattended outside the RV at any time.

All pets must remain under the direct supervision and control of their owner while outdoors.

Other Campsites
Pets may not enter, pass through, or relieve themselves on another guest's campsite.

Dog Park
Use of the off-leash dog park is at the guest's own risk.

Pismo Sands assumes no liability for injuries, incidents, or damages arising from use of the dog park to the extent permitted by law.

Nuisance or Aggressive Pets
Management reserves the right to require immediate removal of a pet, or termination of a guest's stay, when a pet is aggressive, disruptive, a nuisance, or otherwise creates a safety or disturbance concern.

Kennels & Pet Fencing
Outdoor pet kennels are not permitted.

See-through pet fencing up to 3 feet in height is permitted.

Privacy fencing or fencing that obstructs visibility is prohibited.

Guests should contact management with questions regarding approved pet fencing.

FACILITIES & SMOKING

Guests and visitors who smoke must dispose of cigarette butts and other smoking-related waste properly.

Cigarette butts may not be discarded on sites, roads, landscaping, common areas, or elsewhere on resort property.

LIABILITY, CONDUCT & LEGAL POLICIES

Personal Property & Injury
Pismo Sands assumes no responsibility or liability for personal injury, theft, loss, or damage to guest property except where liability cannot legally be waived.

Guests are encouraged to secure vehicles, RVs, bicycles, equipment, and personal belongings when unattended.

Property Damage
The registered guest is financially responsible for damage caused by the guest, members of the guest's party, visitors, pets, vehicles, or equipment to resort property, facilities, landscaping, utilities, or equipment.

Guest Conduct
Pismo Sands maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, excessively disruptive, or inappropriate behavior toward resort employees, contractors, guests, or visitors.

Violations may result in immediate removal from the resort without refund, subject to applicable law.

Rates
Rates, fees, policies, and availability are subject to change.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
Pismo Sands reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay when permitted by applicable law, including for violations of resort rules, unsafe conduct, disruptive behavior, failure to provide required documentation, nonpayment, or other material violations of the guest's reservation agreement.

By signing the registration or check-in form, completing a reservation where these policies are incorporated, or occupying a site, the guest acknowledges receipt of and agreement to comply with these Rules & Policies.
